I had a dream that the remote Alaska town that I live in was a city. My boyfriends’ bother’s girlfriend and I bumped into eachother on the streets and began to hang out. (in real life we don’t really talk much.) We engulfed ourselves in an intense converstation about our lives. She is pregnant in reality and in my dream we talked about the unborn child being a boy.

It was evening turning into dark skies but the city lights brightened our way. We were driving in a car wandering down the streets aimlessly. It didn’t seem as either one of us was actually driving the car but more as if we were floating down the street in the car. At one point we were ‘lightly’ walking down the busy city streets.

We discussed our ages and she insisted she was 30 years old. I argued politely this fact stating I knew she was only 22. She refused to admit that demanding she was 30 and I felt strange that she thought she was older than me. I am 27.

During our intense discussions I wondered, as she spoke, why I was hanging out with her having this talk. It bothered me in the dream but when I awoke to reality I felt a desire to want to be her friend. During our discussion we talked about our futures, I told her I really wanting to have a writing career and then she told me she was a writer. I was shocked yet intrigued because she is the type of person that would be nothing more than a mom that parties.
