Forked

In this dream I am living in this place thats kinda like Sesame street but even more so. Everywhere I turn there are kids eating cupcakes and holding balloons and swinging and there are flowers everywhere and its all just so overwhelmingly adorable but I liked the neighborhood then I walk into my apt. building and there are flies in the stairwell and rats and its dark and I’m living on the top floor and have access to the roof where there is a community playhouse called “The Blue Door” and I can hear everything cuz the walls are so thin. I go into my apartment and one of the rats got in I throw a fork at it just to scare it but I stab it and it starts to die and I feel horrible and as it dies it turns into something that looks more like a cross between a monkey and a cat.
